Franck and I had a wonderful night, the waiters were all on hand for our every need and very caring. The food was superb and just totally yummy. I love it here.

Tried to book a table for 7 adults and 4 children but told just to turn up and and wait. How long would we be waiting for that amount of tables to be free? What century are we living in? Just lost a decent booking. We'll go somewhere more customer friendly.

Very rude staff. Booked a table for my birthday. Forgot 2 starters and forgot 2 mains. Lady extremely rude and argumentative towards my husband when complaining about cold food. Will not return. Feel completely let down. Should not be called Italian. More like fast food outlet.

Very good food. Nice menu choice & prepared well. Fine selection of drinks, both wine & beer. Staff very pleasant & efficient.

Unfortunately, children were running around as if it were a playground - up & down & round the pub and never stopping. This was after 7:30PM. Spoiled the evening. What a shame.

My friend and I went to the restaurant on Friday early evening as we wanted to "sit and chill" and chat.

The food was fantastic, as it has been previously, but no sooner had we finished a course then a waiter appeared and whisked our plates away, to be replaced by our next course. I had nearly finished my main course when a waiter appeared again and asked if we were finished, of which I replied "No".

Again no sooner had I put my knife and fork down then the waiter appeared and whisked the plates away. We were asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, which we didn't. Both my friend and I felt uncomfortable, as waiters were staring at us (for our beauty I'm sure!), as they clearly wanted us to leave so they could use the table again.

We were completely rushed throughout our meal, it wasn't the chilled meal we wanted. Yes it was a Friday evening but we felt we had to rush our meal and leave, leaving us both feeling quite disappointed, and unwelcome.

We won't be returning for a "chilled" evening in the near future.

Brilliant food, lovely restaurant and the staff work incredibly hard and have always been polite and helpful. Possibly one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at. I'd recommend trying their dhansak or any of the kahari dishes. The starters are also a must.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food was nicely cooked, and the vegetables were just right. The staff were very friendly and the service good. Being a Saturday night it was quite busy but our waitress popped to our table several times to check everything was OK. I shall be going again.

I love to go for a meal at Venus. Go lots of times, as only live two doors away. Love the food, it's home made. Think it's one of the nicest places to eat in South Yorkshire. I have been going a long time to Venus and never had a bad meal. All the staff work very hard.

Went to Akhtars. I have to say, what an experience it was, from the staff, atmosphere, and then the food. Cannot fault the restaurant with anything. Helpful staff, especially Gish, who has always looked after us whether it's delivery or eating in. Moved further away from their usual within 5 miles radius free delivery. But was always a pleasure to take the drive down, meet the lads and have a drink before setting off with my order.

Keep it up Akhtars, always first to recommend.

Had Sunday lunch with family on January 29th.

The place was heaving, but despite that we didn't have to wait too long. The decor is really nice and the staff were good and efficient and the food was superb. The Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were really top class. As good as Mum used to make!

Great idea for mini dessert and coffee/tea, as it is just enough to finish with and only £4.95.

We will definitely be going back regularly.

Marco's is under new management now. The new team are experienced, passionate, driven, and determined to turn the place into somewhere special to eat! In my opinion they have accomplished this already.

The food and service on our visit last week was second to none, and I for one am relieved that the place is now what you would expect to find from Marco Pierre White!

Went on the 2nd February 2017. Never disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice friendly staff. If you don't want to be disappointed and you don't want to book go early, we do and always get a table.

Went after hearing a lot from work colleagues. Lived up to the hype - great service, amazing decor, and fantastic food. I've seen their tag line around Sheffield - "Reyt Good Curreh" - it wer 'an all! Recommended and will be going for more soon.

Took my 11-year-old son for a meal, only to be told that we had to pay for two adults because he was taller than the silly white line. The website states that children under 16 have to be accompanied by an adult. If this is the case then my 11-year-old is definitely a child, so why does he have to pay adult prices?

Was also told I couldn't order a pint of Coke. Pint glasses behind the bar, Coke on draught, but can't order a pint. Why the hell not? I won't be returning to Cosmo again on principal - it's a joke.
