I dine here often with family, have lunch with friends, and have never been disappointed yet.

This restaurant's menu constantly changes, yet still retains its most popular dishes. Great care is taken with cooking steak to your liking, and fish and chicken breast, so easy to overcook are always perfect.

The early bird menu represents amazing value, and the lunchtime one even more so.

The staff are courteous and friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and informal.

Delightful food. They start off with the best pickle tray containing 8-10 choices.

The following courses we have tried are all excellent. Great prawn purée, variety of sauces with all the usual proteins. Hard to fault.

Very attentive owner/manager keeps everything running very smoothly.

Went to the Wortley Arms tonight for a meal with family and I have to say we were all disappointed in how the food was poorly presented and also very under-cooked. We had sirloin steaks and lamb steak and asked for them to be medium & medium to well-done, but they were all well underdone, tasteless, and rubbery. We have been a few times now and unfortunately it is a real hit-and-miss occasion.

Went here for the mid week buffet, waste of time and money.

Spring rolls were the very cheap frozen generic offerings you get in the freezer section of ethnic supermarkets. When I know the Thai version freshly made is stunning. Same for the samosas. Rice. Boiled basmati or fried, as in Chinese egg fried. Chinese prawn crackers and lack lustre curries, as in potato and broccoli. Watery and sad.

The Thai restaurants I have experience of can cook some beautiful complex curries. Fish in batter? Dry! No pork or chicken spare rib or tasty chicken pieces. The only thing they cook in front of you will be your soup and I think that's about the main draw of the place. An array of sweets and fresh fruit but the bottom line is this place will suit shoppers with no idea of what Thai cooking is all about.

Sorry for the negative review, I can only post as I see it based on my experience and tastes.

Been going to Monk's Bridge Farm restaurant for a few years now. Never had a bad meal yet. Always good food and very nice staff. They always make you welcome and talk to you, even when under pressure, which they very often are. I love the place. Top marks Monk's Bridge Farm, Dinnington.

I've just been to Coal Grill & Bar in Meadowhall and the experience was awful. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had.

I went in with my partner and we ordered from the lunch menu. I had no idea how small the portions were - other reviews on Google had people saying that the meals from the kids menu were bigger than the lunch menu.

I ordered the chicken fajita and it came with two mini tortillas, if it said that on the menu, I would not have ordered it. Paying £7.95 for two mini tortillas and half of a chicken breast is ridiculous!

After we gave the feedback, the waitress kindly offered to bring the manager over and when the manager came, he was very rude. He was chewing gum and said that they do not control the portions and said "I don't know what you want me to say, it's not like I don't care, someone else does the portions" whilst continuing to chew gum.

Will never go there again and don't recommend it to anyone.

Some of the reviews on here are absolute rubbish. I've been a regular visitor to Shapla for 35 years and never once had a bad meal. The owner and his staff are very friendly and the service is first-class. The best Indian restaurant in Sheffield!

Great place, great location. My table of 3 had a great table overlooking the Peace Gardens. We came on a Sunday for lunch. The beef was cooked to perfection. The service was great - there when you needed them but not too intrusive. Would highly recommend this place and will be going again in the future.

We have been visitors to Cosmo a couple of times a year pretty much since it opened in Sheffield and we have always raved about it.

The previous time we visited we noticed a certain drop in quality in some of the dishes, but everyone can have an off day, can't they? However, this time we were very disappointed with many of the dishes. Not all though, the meat in the lamb rogan josh was very nice, as was the chicken tikka masala.

But the meat in many of the Chinese dishes was tough and/or fatty, giving the impression of cheap quality. Some other ingredients felt bland.

There were some very nice looking desserts, but on inspection turned out to be well-dressed with 80% canned whipped cream.

I must, though, compliment the staff on being polite and attentive.

Overall I will stop recommending it to my friends and sadly will not be going back in the foreseeable future.

After years of not being in Sheffield, made a effort to go to the cafe at 5:45PM.

Very disappointed in the quality of the food, which was lukewarm even after the microwave. The unfriendly, quite rude staff (looked like they did not want to be there or around people) and the atmosphere was uncomfortable and just couldn't wait to get out.

The best Chinese in the north of England. No question, absolutely no idea what the other guy is talking about.

Everyone I take here (and I come as often as I can) all say the same thing; that it's the best Chinese they've ever had.

Easily the best restaurant in Sheffield, located right in the centre of town next to a car park and student bars and clubs. 100% must try.

A group of 12 went to the Four Seasons in Dinnington for a birthday celebration on 28/10/2017. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the food was gorgeous. We were sat at a huge round table, which was great. All in all a wonderful night out.

Naan breads are disgusting. Had hairs in my food and the owner is grim, he loves himself and obviously sees something in the mirror that no one else does. Sits at tables with customers while they eat. Who wants that? Never again.

We ordered paneer aloo tikki, pav bhaji, butter masala, chicken tikka, daal makhani , and other. None of the food tasted any close to the real taste of the dish. Paneer butter masala and chicken tikka had tomato ketchup as ingredient. We got a call from someone in the restaurant asking our choice of the taste and whether we would like it to spicy.

None of the dishes tasted as it should. Poor cooking, too much oil in everything, very poor taste. Will not recommend at all.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Usually very good, though the wait seems to get longer.

Just ordered again. Waited more than an hour and when it comes there were no poppadoms. Phoned up and asked the question why? They said we didn't order any. The bill we paid was the same amount as always, including poppadoms, still our fault!

Can't check the bill, as they never leave one. Wonder why? Get them to repeat your order over the phone after you have placed it.

I was really looking forward to a meal last night, catching up with some old friends that I've not seen for a while. The food is good, though I have to say my meal was on the lukewarm side, but I didn't want to complain for the reason being I found the staff member who was taking the orders very rude to me and there was no need for that. I'll not be going again. I would have understood if I was being an awkward customer. If you want to keep customers you need to be polite.
