Waiting in a line for 20 minutes to be served fatty meets and watery veg with no flavour whatsoever. Not good at all.

I had a great 80th birthday there. Good food and great service. If I lived nearer I would go often.

Customer service was disgusting. Missed numerous dishes off the order. Phoned to complain, was told I would have to wait 45 minutes for those dishes. Told the ignorant man on the phone this wasn't acceptable; his response was vile.

Will never use these rude people again. Shame, as I was regular customer.

Food was amazing. Portion size was very good for price. The staff made you feel really welcome, like family. Deffo recommend.

Great food and friendly service. Amazing menu selections, and food is fresh all the time. Love the fish thali selection and tofu starter. My partner tried biryani, which was one of the best ever tasted by me.

Overall great experience and would definitely be visiting again very soon.

On arrival in the pub we started with a drink and also asked the staff about the snooker table, if we can play. The staff straight away responded that the sticks are broken, and we can't play.

Also after spending a few hours having food and drinks, we spotted a group of lads that were using the snooker table. Straight away we asked Alex, one of the staff members, what was the reason that they can play and we can't. Asked him if he had anything against us in any way or shape. He said that he has not having any problems with us and nothing to do with any sort discriminatory issues.

Didn't really appreciate the way the situation was handled.

A group of us went last Monday for lunch, it was so good we went back again today. Every meal we had was superb and I can be a fussy eater. Both times I had the fish and chips, which were lovely. The steak pie was full of chunks meat. The roasts were excellent. The ladies who served us were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you.

Today the meal in Coal restaurant was very good, but the service was the best part. We were visiting the town from Stafford. We were served by Mandy. The attitude was fantastic, friendly, efficient, a real credit. This meal made our day out fantastic.

Only had some chips from the takeaway, but the person serving us was picking out burnt chips as she was dishing them up. When asked if they were fresh chips she said they were but she had had to pick out burnt ones all day! Well, when we opened the chips up to eat them, less than half were edible, as most were dried out... obviously NOT fresh!

Been to Akhtars today (13/03/2019), it was absolutely amazing, the staff were so friendly, it was great service and the food was delicious. You definitely got what you paid for, I would 100% recommend. 10/10.

Booked a table on Saturday 9th March 2019. There was eight of us - five adults and three kids.

We placed two separate orders at the same time. Four mains turned up at the same time, four more to come. The others had nearly eaten their meals so I called over a member of staff to find out where our other meals were. Five minutes later three mains arrived, leaving my 10-year-old still waiting, so I again called over a member of staff.

Five minutes later her meal arrived and I have to say it did not look appetising but she started to eat it (chicken New Yorker). She turned to me and said "mummy this chicken taste funny", so I tried it and although it looked cooked it tasted raw. So I called a member of staff again and he said he'd replace it.

By now I wasn't going to let her wait any longer so told him I'd share my meal with her. He offered a free dessert, which she accepted. That was 1/2 the price of her meal. I complained that I felt robbed, but nothing further to compensate.

A shocking meal, hence we will not be eating at Sword Dancer again. Disgusting.

I went here for a meal and a catch up with friends. The food was OK, but there was "background" music, which made conversation difficult. We complained and they said they would turn it down. If they did it was minimal. We will not be going back.

The words "most pathetic Indian food I have ever tasted" would be an understatement. We had ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. After waiting for 45 mins we were served lamb, potatoes, lentils in the same undercooked gravy which was bland, tasteless and sweet. In vegetarian thali we ordered popadum which was served was to the size of 1/10th of a whole popadumor maybe even less than that. The naan was not even well done. I am sure I will not be visiting ever again.

Great little pub. Cosy fire and warm atmosphere. Delicious food, reasonably priced. Monday is two meals for £5 all day. I had 3 small plates for £12, nachos/little sausage company Scotch egg/creamy mushrooms... good sized portions. The curry was equally as delicious. I would certainly recommend this place.

What a real shame. Food was good, however staff was not. Why? We was very polite & well behaved & spent just under £100. I/or we was made to feel very unwelcome from the moment we walked in to leaving. I will never use this place ever again, either for a sit down meal or takeaway. Money spends anywhere in the world. Sorry Rajput.

Poor service. Ordered a delivery at 7:30pm, was told it would be about an hour. At 9:00pm they hadn't even started making it and told me I would just have to wait. Made out I was lying about what time I had ordered.

Food was cold, tasteless and average at best. Delivery driver was on the make, charging more than bill.

£33 for a tasteless cold meal.
