Wortley Hall is set in 26 acres of formal grounds and woodland it acts as the perfect setting for an intimate restaurant.

At the Ruddy Duck, our philosophy is to provide diners with an enjoyable and exciting dining experience. We are very proud to have been awarded the prestigious 2 AA rosettes for our delicious food! We are completely focused on showcasing the best of Yorkshire and British ingredients, cooked with a modern twist whilst remaining in keeping with classic techniques. We aim to create innovative dishes that people will talk about long after the plates have been cleared.

Extremely good value for money... food was not only very well presented but cooked to perfection. Staff very helpful and appeared to be well informed of the menu/wines.

Small restaurant but I always believe that to be better, then you know your food is not mass produced. If you haven't been give it a try you might just love it. I'm booked on a walk and dine this year and looking forward to it!
